I'd bet good money there's a strong correlation between Big Fish Suckage and PPC, just based on our experience here in Casa de Oliver.Īnd lest you think I'm whining in public without pursuing any other avenues, I've tried e-mailing their support before, even going so far as to point out what exactly is wrong in their code and how they can fix it in the few times I've been bothered to try (i.e. I'd be curious how many of the posters above are running these on PowerPC Macs rather than Intel. It's gotten to the point where it's frankly embarrassingly obvious to me what's busted (from a technical standpoint) and I wonder WTF is up with their Mac QA. My wife is a Big Fish fanatic, and I have to say I've been shocked - SHOCKED! - at how many of their games claim to be Universal yet either a) flat out don't work right on PowerPC-based Macs or b) are not universal and silently fail to launch after the Big Fish demo wrapper screen on PPC Macs. Select Control Panel and click Uninstall a program. Place your mouse over the bottom left corner of the screen and right-click.

It would be great if someone could figure this out for us. Follow the directions on your screen to remove the Big Fish Games app from your computer. Then I added more ram just to see and of course it didn't help even though I did need more memory anyway. Their tech support is great although I would much rather have the game instead of free credits for more games that don't work.

I purchased at least a half dozen games with problems and now I go right to the trial period first to see if it works which usually it doesn't. Two games I get sound and no picture but I keep clicking on the screen and the dock and then it magically appears. There are a number of their games that won't work. This isn't the first time this has happened either. Just this morning I tried the new one that came out.Sherlock Holmes and I can't even get to the free trial period. Its the same thing, when I click on certain items in the game, it won't work and so I can not go on to the next level. I have been having nothing but problems lately.
